Partner and Attorney James Donigan earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Union College in 1994. During his time at Union college, he was a member of the men’s basketball team, completed a research fellowship and graduated with high honors. Jamie then obtained his Juris Doctor at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law in 1997. After earning his Juris Doctor, Jamie also earned a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice at the State University of Albany in 2006.
Throughout his lengthy legal career, Jamie has represented and fought for his clients seriously injured in motorcycle accidents, car crashes, work accidents, premises liability and other general negligence situations. Jamie has extensive legal knowledge and experience. He has managed hundreds of personal injury cases and successfully litigated, mediated, and tried cases in the Courts of New York and Pennsylvania. Jamie has obtained many large settlement awards for his clients.
Prior to joining DeFrancisco & Falgiatano, Jamie was a senior attorney at another large Central New York Injury Law firm. Jamie is licensed to practice law in the New York, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia. He has also completed numerous professional seminars including a prestigious and immersive New York State Trial Skills program in 2001.
Jamie is active and invested in the Central New York Community. He has volunteered his time in a variety of settings. Specifically, he has coached and organized youth basketball teams and coached basketball and football from the modified to varsity levels at Bishop Ludden High School. Jamie most recently assisted in coaching Central New York College Prospects participating in the Basketball Coaches of New York Summer Hoops Festival.
